Description
When you choose the PADI Open Water Diver course, you’re selecting the world’s most popular recreational diving certification and joining a community of fellow adventure-seekers around the globe.
The course typically takes 3-4 days to complete, and once certified, you will be qualified to dive down to 18 meters anywhere in the world and rent scuba gear. Your PADI certification is internationally recognized and does not expire, granting you the assurance that your training will open the door for you to dive safely and confidently in sites and conditions corresponding to your experience.
The Open Water Diver course consists of three key components:
eLearning that will teach you core information on diving theory and safe practices. These online knowledge development sessions can be completed at your own pace, with students typically reporting that they take anywhere from 8-10 hours to complete.
5 confined water sessions to learn how to use your scuba gear and practice your skills in a comfortable and accessible environment such as our on-site pool.
4 open water dives to apply the skills you learned and begin exploring real-life marine environments under the close supervision of your PADI Instructor.
We offer flexible packages for our students:
Open Water Diver course from the shore: 1,449 AED
Open Water Diver course with a combination of shore and boat dives: 1,799 AED
Private instruction for both male and female students is available upon request. All of our courses are conducted in small groups to ensure close supervision and comfort.
The course is valid for one year after purchase and must be completed within this period.
Prerequisites:
You must be at least 10 years old and be able to swim. For the Open Water course, you will be required to complete a 10-minute tread/float and a 200-meter swim without mask and fins or a 300-meter swim with mask and fins. This will not be timed and can be completed at your own pace.
All participants will also be required to fill out a medical form attesting to their medical fitness to dive. Certain medical conditions may prevent you from diving, and certain conditions will require additional approval from a qualified medical practitioner in order to clear you to dive. Please reach out for more information prior to booking.
