- We request payment at the time of booking to ensure availability and secure your timeslot. You may pay online via our website or through bank transfer.
- Please contact our staff to reschedule your course. We request that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the start of your course or fun dive.
- You can complete the eLearning at your own pace. eLearning typically requires a time commitment of 8-10 hours for the Open Water Diver course.
- Your course must be completed within one year after purchase.
- Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experiences are conducted from the beach attached to Oceanic Khor Fakkan Resort and from our boat at our nearby reef sites.
- Our Open Water Diver courses can be completed from the shore and/or boat.
- Our Advanced Open Water Diver courses can be completed in a hybrid model between shore and boat or fully from the boat.

- Yes, you must be able to swim prior to beginning any diving course for your safety. For the Open Water course, you will be required to complete a 10-minute tread/float and a 200-meter swim without mask and fins or a 300-meter swim with mask and fins. This will not be timed and can be completed at your own pace.
- For the Discover Scuba Diving experience, we ask that all participants be comfortable in and around the water.
- You will be required to complete a medical form prior to in-water activities to verify you do not have any conditions that will require a full medical form with clearance to be acquired from a doctor. Please check the medical form sent to you by email upon your enrollment in any course.
- If you have one of the conditions listed in the form, kindly inform us prior to booking so that we may provide you with the appropriate form to take to a doctor to receive medical clearance.
- Concerning flying after diving, current recommendations advise that you should leave at least 12 hours after one recreational dive and at least 18 hours after two or more recreational dives (or multiple days of diving) before flying.
- If you are traveling and would like to complete the rest of your course abroad, we can provide you with a referral form that verifies the parts of the course you completed with us.
- We request that divers enroll in a ReActivate experience after 6 months of not diving.
- You may arrange private instruction with a male or female instructor. During peak timing, this may incur an additional cost to ensure availability. Please reach out to us for more information on booking.
- All divers joining boat trips must bring their original, valid Emirates ID (if a resident) or original passport (if not a resident). Copies will not be accepted by the Coast Guard, and you will not be permitted to dive from the boat that day if you are not carrying your Emirates ID or passport with you.
- We suggest you bring a towel, reusable water bottle, and change of clothing. If you are diving from the boat, snacks and drinks will be provided.
- Free parking is available at Oceanic Khor Fakkan Resort. Restrooms, accessible bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms are available for divers. Divers can also enjoy a range of cafés and restaurants in the hotel. For divers looking to extend their stay, they may book overnight at the hotel.
