Description
The PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course offers four dives, allowing you to confidently explore depths up to 40 meters. This course enhances your gas management and planning skills, refines buoyancy control, and expands your understanding of safe diving practices at greater depths.
Prerequisites for enrolling in the PADI Deep Diver Specialty course include being 15 years or older and holding at least the PADI Adventure Diver certification (or an equivalent from another recognized organization). If you don’t meet these requirements, we can tailor a package to help you attain the necessary level.
What will you learn?
- Understand and manage the risks of gas narcosis
- Dive with and practice using an independent air source
- Conduct emergency drills related to deep diving
- Examine environmental and physical changes at depth
- Explore the effects of increased pressure on gauge readings, color, temperature, and more
The PADI Deep Diver Specialty can be completed in two days. Your instructor will coordinate a theory review and two dives on each of those days, emphasizing more time in the water for practical experience.
